I have very fond memories of staying with Liza and her family at Steuarthall … first in my teens, and later in my 20s, when I had the privilege of being one of her bridesmaids. Alick and Wylda were always warmly welcoming and the most generous and stylish of hosts, whether I was visiting for a sleepover with Liza, or a full-blown Kennedy party, or a Chinese meal in Cambridge, or a performance of Rachel’s prep school play (“Paddington”!). And throughout it all, Alick’s love for his family, and his pride in his children, was unmistakable. Thinking of you all. Julia Edwards
